Privacy information

How Raahva handles enquiries, contact details and privacy requests.

Last updated: 2 November 2026

This page explains how Raahva uses information when you browse our website, ask a question or request travel assistance. For privacy questions, contact raahvatravel@gmail.com.

Information you give us

Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, country of residence, destination or destinations, the help you need, number of travellers and a message. Your phone or WhatsApp number and approximate travel dates are optional. We also record your privacy acknowledgement.

Please do not send passport numbers, identity documents, bank details, passwords or other sensitive documents through the general enquiry form. If you later request a service that needs documents, we will discuss the information and a suitable way to provide it separately.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry details to respond to you, understand your requirements, discuss travel options, prepare a personalised quote and maintain a record of the conversation. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

Where enquiries are stored

Form submissions are stored in our WordPress website using Forminator. An email notification containing the enquiry is sent from hello@raahva.com through our hosting mail service to raahvatravel@gmail.com. Copies may therefore be held in the website database, email mailbox, mail delivery logs and backups.

Our website is hosted by GoDaddy and our notification inbox uses Google Gmail. These providers process information as part of delivering their services, and processing may take place in countries outside your own. Authorised people managing Raahva enquiries can access the information needed for their work.

How long we keep enquiries

For enquiries that do not lead to a booking, we keep the enquiry and related correspondence for up to six months after our last contact with you. We review and remove these records from WordPress, email copies and accessible notification logs. This is a manual review based on the conversation, rather than an automatic expiry from the original submission date.

If an enquiry becomes a booking or paid service, relevant records may need to be kept separately to provide that service, handle payment or resolve questions, or meet applicable legal obligations. We retain those records only for the relevant purpose. Backup copies may remain until the backups are replaced or expire; they are not used for routine enquiry handling.

Technical information and cookies

The website, hosting service and form tools may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information and request logs to operate the site, handle submissions and limit abuse. WordPress and site tools may use cookies needed for functions such as administrator login and security.

The visa readiness questionnaires process answers in your browser. They do not save or send those answers to Raahva. Following an assistance link does not transfer your questionnaire answers into the enquiry form. If you choose to submit an enquiry, the details you enter in that form are handled as described above.

Other services and sharing

If you contact us through WhatsApp or a social platform, that provider handles your messages under its own privacy information. Links to YouTube, social channels, official authorities and other websites take you to services with their own policies.

If you ask us to arrange a booking or help with an application, the relevant airline, accommodation provider, transport operator or application service may need information to carry out that request. We will discuss the proposed arrangements and the information needed before proceeding. We do not sell enquiry details.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us about the information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or tell us you no longer want us to follow up on an enquiry. Email raahvatravel@gmail.com using the address associated with your enquiry where possible. We may need to verify the request. Some records may need to be retained for an ongoing service or an applicable legal obligation.

We will update this page if the way we collect or use information changes. The date above identifies the latest published revision.
